ADVANCED CASTING CAPABILITIES

Advanced Casting Capabilities for Custom Metal Parts

Tik Precision offers integrated casting and precision machining solutions, from raw castings to finished components, helping reduce supplier coordination and improve quality control.

High pressure die casting for complex metal parts
LOW-PRESSURE DIE CASTING

Strong cast parts for larger and thicker geometries

Ideal for larger or thicker parts that require good strength, lower porosity and stable structural integrity across repeat batches.

Best For

Gravity casting for durable medium-volume metal parts
HIGH-PRESSURE DIE CASTING

Efficient casting for thin-wall and detailed parts

Suitable for complex metal parts with fine details, high dimensional accuracy, smooth surface finish and cost efficiency at suitable production volumes.

Best For

Low-Pressure Casting

Best for larger, thicker cast parts requiring strength, low porosity and stable structural integrity.

High-Pressure Casting

Best for thin-wall, detailed parts requiring dimensional accuracy, repeatability and cost-efficient production.

Gravity Casting

Best for simpler durable metal parts, aluminum housings and medium-volume industrial components.

Materials
Lead Time
What casting processes do you offer?

Precision die casting – aluminum, zinc, magnesium, and copper-based alloys. Suitable for high-volume production (10,00+ units).

What tolerances can you hold on cast parts?

Typical ±0.05 mm to ±0.10 mm depending on part size and geometry. Tighter tolerances available with secondary CNC machining.

What is the minimum wall thickness?

Down to 0.5mm depending on material, part geometry, and flow characteristics.

What is your typical lead time?

Tooling: 4–6 weeks. First articles: 1–2 weeks after tooling completion. Production lead times: 2–4 weeks depending on volume.

How do you ensure quality and consistency across batches?

In-process inspections, dimensional reports, and material certifications. Secondary CMM inspection available for critical features.

When should I choose casting over CNC machining?

Choose casting for volumes above 10,00 units – lower per-part cost. Choose CNC machining for low volumes, tight tolerances (±0.002 mm), or thin walls (0.05 mm) not achievable in casting.
