High-Volume CNC Machining | Bulk & Large-Scale Production
Tik Precision provides high-volume CNC machining for precision parts made to customer drawings. We handle production runs of 1,000 pieces and above, using 3-axis to 5-axis milling and CNC turning. Each program starts with DFM review and first article inspection. After approval, the process is recorded in a control plan and reused for every lot, with inspection records kept for each shipment.

Our High-Volume CNC Production Process
Cost and consistency over a long run are largely determined before the first lot is released. Each program follows the same five steps.
01
DFM Review
We review datums, GD&T, tolerance stack-up, material and surface finish, and identify features that may affect cost, yield or lead time before we quote.
02
Process Planning
We define the operation sequence, workholding, cutting tools, programs and cycle time for the full order quantity.
03
First Article & Pilot Run
First article parts are fully inspected against the drawing. A pilot run can be made before production release.
04
Control Plan & Release
After approval, the process is locked and recorded in the control plan, including gauges and inspection frequency.
05
Production & Delivery
Lots are machined, inspected and shipped to the agreed schedule. Repeat orders use the stored process records.
How We Keep Production Lots Consistent
Revision Control
Only approved NC programs and drawing revisions are released to production. All modifications are reviewed, authorised and documented.
Dedicated Fixtures
Recurring mass production parts use dedicated or modular fixtures to maintain identical datum references across every batch.
Tool Life & Gauging
Cutting tools are replaced at predefined service intervals. Critical characteristics are verified with dedicated gauges where applicable.
Lot Traceability
Material lot number, machining date and inspection records are retained for every production batch. SPC and Cpk data are available upon request.

Questions Buyers Usually Ask First
These answers help engineering and purchasing teams understand quoting requirements, file security, DFM feedback, inspection support and High-volume production options before starting a project.
We handle repeat and scheduled production runs of [range] pieces per batch. We also accept prototype and pilot quantities, so you can approve the part before moving to production.
Prototype and pilot orders have no fixed minimum. For production orders, quantities are quoted per drawing based on the part, material and process.
It depends on the part and the approval steps. After the first article is approved, we confirm the process plan and schedule with you before the production run.
We record the approved process, fixtures, tools and inspection points, and use the same plan for each batch. Critical dimensions are checked in-process and recorded.
Yes. A large order can be split into planned shipments to match your production or stock schedule.
Files are used only for your quote and order. We can sign an NDA on request before you send drawings.
STEP, STP, SLDPRT, IPT, PRT, SAT and PDF drawings. A PDF with tolerances is recommended alongside the 3D file.
We machine only to customer drawings and specifications. We do not sell standard parts.
